Dear Pastor Jonathan and friends at New Beginnings,

 Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us and for your support of $75.68 in April and May. You are a vital part of the ministry and a blessing to us in Romania! As we stated in our last update/thank you note we have been very busy preparing Camp Eli for summer camp.  We have completed the parking area and driveway to the new part of camp (275 cubic yards of concrete), as well as installing a new underground natural gas line (485 meters-nearly half a kilometer!!!) The Lord has supplied $14,900 of this $40,000 project. We would be honored if you would consider a gift towards this need. We have also redone the floor tile in two bathrooms and totally redone another bathroom.

Last summer nearly 1,500 campers were able to attend a week of camp here, and many decisions were made for Christ.  We once again ask the Lord for His protection over the camp, and favor with the authorities as we move through the summer. Please pray with us.

 Over the last two months we have rejoiced with three of our brothers following the Lord in baptism.  Alin is from our church in Sinesti and received Christ last fall. Alex and Dan are part of the young men’s Bible study group I have led since 2020. Thanks for your prayers for these three young men and their desire to make Christ known in and through their lives.

 We recently held an evangelistic drama at Valea Argovei, Fundulea, and Sinesti named “Heaven’s Gates, Hell’s Flames”.  Beni Harlea did a great job of involving our young people from the church in Fundulea and many came to see the presentation. As the gospel was shared and an invitation to receive Christ was offered, more than 40 responded.  Praise the Lord for the desire of our young people to share the gospel, and for the ones who turned to Christ as a result!

 We attended the Word of Life Bible Institute campus days event in April with a group of our young men.  Two of them have decided to attend this fall. Please pray for Iosif Bordea and Beni Cek as they prepare.  Neither have the funds to be able to attend, but we are praying that the Lord will supply before they attend in September!
